Salsa Chicken

I saw this dish in Chef Michael Smith's show on AFC called "Chef at Home". It looked very simple to make so I took a shot at it. It's yum! We're putting this in our roster of home classics.

Ingredients:
4 skinless chicken breast fillets
store-bought salsa
cheddar cheese
vegetable oil
salt and pepper

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Pound chicken fillets flat and even.
  3. Season with salt and pepper on both sides then pan-fry till slightly browned.
  4. Transfer to a oven-proof dish, top with salsa and grated cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is done, the cheese is melted and browned.

Serve with BLT salad.

Oh dear!!!I didnt know its on a cooking show!!! I made this last summer. and used left over for my fajitas.yumyum
