7 important things in my car (9/10)

  1. Epass tag
This highway tag saves me 10 to 30 minutes of queuing time at the tollbooth. The tag credits are auto-replenished on my credit card. No worries on that end.

  2. 12 disc CD changer
Long daily drives… a sound trip ;) Every now and then I post what CDs I have in the car particularly the new acquisitions.

  3. City map
I have the colorful version with the building map of Makati and Ortigas. I know my way around Manila enough to teach even cab drivers. Sometimes my friends tease me saying that I think of alternative routes like a jeepney driver. :) Guys, you know who you are.

  4. Flash light
I keep one in the glove compartment with the parts not screwed on tightly. I find the batteries last longer that way.

  5. Compressor
Should I get a flat tire, I can plug this thing to the cigarette lighter and inflate the tire enough to get me to the nearest gasoline station for help in changing the tire. It’s been handly 2-3 times already.

  6. Jug of water
Not for me, for the car just in case it overheats.

  7. Jumper / Series cable
A few weeks ago I learned the value of having one. Going home at 9pm one day I find my car’s battery dead. Good thing my officemate Raoul and my Church mate Karlo were around to help me. We got to borrow a jumper cable from a nearby auto shop and hailed a cab to jump-start the car. The next day, my dad buys me my own jumper cable and even a towing cable…. Just in case.
