Bo-licious

If American Idol Season 4 had worldwide voting the way Rockstar INXS has today, then I would be one of the many screaming fanatic Pinays who would've spent really hard-earned but depreciated pesos to text-in my vote multiple times for Bo Bice.

I finally got my copy of Bo Bice's CD which has only 2 songs: "Inside Your Heaven," the song both he and Carrie Underwood sang for the final and "Vehicle," Bo's encore and favorite song of the season. I surely miss Bo's singing and energetic performances.

In my opinion, Bo surely pulled the finale song far better than Carrie did. It seems more appropriate to hear from a male voice, wooing lyrics like "I want to be the earth that holds you, every little bit of air you breathe... I want to be inside your heaven." Or maybe it's because I'm female and a definite Bo Bice fan.

Looking back, some of my favorite Bo Bice performances were his renditions of "Heaven" by the Los Lonely Boys, "For the Love of Money" by the O-Jays and "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" by Sir Elton John. Clive Davis's golden ears hit a bull's eye on that song choice for Bo. However, if the finale was the night Bo dared to sing "In A Dream" acappella, I think he would've won.

So here it is - my nice Bo Bice CD finally with me. The CD costs $3.98 and I bought it on Amazon two months ago but had it delivered to my friend's uncle's house in L.A. where she was vacationing. She came home last weekend and I went to her house after work two nights ago to check up on her and pick up my bag of goodies. Oh, by the way, I ordered 3 - one for me and the rest for two other Bo Bice fans I know. :) The 30 minute drive from Better Living to where I live was spent with my CD player on RPT DSC.

Bo's debut album will come out this last quarter of the year. You now know what I'll order on Amazon for Christmas. :D Time for me to update my published wish list. ;)
