Closing Down the Gym

After a long day today in Ortigas and Makati I decided to top it off with a workout at Fitness First Alabang. It was the first time that I went through my routine on my own - no personal trainer.

20 minutes on the treadmill without a heart monitor and I kept on wondering if I was going over my dangerous 160 beats per minute mark. Incline 4, speed 6, finished with 94 calories burned. Hmmm... not bad. :) Worked up a sweat while listening to CNN's World News Asia. Disney stocks went up and IBM's Chinese buyer posted a 6% gain over the past quarter. Not bad din.

My program is a mix of free weights, cables machines and ab work; 2 sets of 15 to 20 reps making sure my muscles shake till they burn. Tiring stuff really, finished after 2 hours.

When I got up from my stretching mat I realized that I was one of two clients left in facility and that it was 10:00pm. Closing time. Sakto.
Grabbed my bag from the locker. Run to the Crosswind coz it was raining. Head home to take a long hot shower. Mmmmm.

Cooling down by blogging about it in my parent's room, on my dad's computer.

It's been a great day. :)
